Building your website shouldn’t feel like a puzzle or raise your blood pressure. Below, you’ll see the step‑by‑step process we'll follow to bring your vision online. 

No jargon, no surprises.

Here's how we build your website

1. Let’s Chat
  • We start with a quick, friendly conversation over the phone or via video call.
  • I’ll ask about your goals and what you’d love your website to do. I promise our chat will be practical and down‑to‑earth. No overwhelming tech talk here (unless you want it, of course).
2. Plan & Scope
  • I turn our conversation into a clear plan: how many pages you need, any special features (e.g. an online store or blog), and a simple timeline.
  • You get a straightforward proposal and a flat fee—no surprise bills, no hidden costs.
3. Design & Feedback
  • I create a simple mockup so you can see the look and get a general feel for the final product.
  • You review and give feedback; I refine until it’s exactly right. This is where we nail down fonts, colors, and layout. And again, as always, everything will be presented in plain, comprehensible English.
4. Build & Test
  • Behind the scenes, I turn the design into a fully responsive WordPress site. That means it looks great on phones, tablets, and desktop screens.
  • I wire up any special tools you need—WooCommerce for online stores, secure member areas, contact forms—and test everything to make sure it works flawlessly.
5. Launch & Train
  • When you’re ready, I take your site live. I handle the technical details: hosting setup, domain pointing, performance tweaks, and backups.
  • I show you the basics of the WordPress dashboard so you can make simple updates yourself. Or, if you’d rather, I can handle ongoing edits for you.
6. Ongoing Support (Optional)
  • After we launch, you have the option to sign up for ongoing support. My clients can choose a small monthly plan for updates, security checks, and performance tuning.
  • You’ll have a direct line to me, not shunted away to an offshore call center.
